American Theatre Master Series

Each Spring, RLTP selects an American drama of great merit – generally one heretofore unseen in WNY – and produces it as our season’s American Theatre Master selection. A high-profile theatre artist closely associated with that play (usually the author) is then invited to visit the Road Less Traveled Theater during the run of the production. Our American Theatre Master presides over a lengthy afternoon Master Class session with RLTP’s New Play Workshop playwrights, RLTP actors and designers, and area students; enjoys an evening performance of their play; and is the Guest of Honor at RLTP’s Spring Gala.
