Behind the Scenes:

The Audience

You buy your ticket.  You find your seat and nestle in for the next few hours.  Why?  The Illusionbrushes up against themes of voyeurism vs. engagement and questions what we expect a play to provide: entertainment? escape? catharsis?  Do theatergoers wish to simply be taken away from lived life for a few hours, or do they wish to emerge transformed?  Is what audiences want changing? What does Pridamant want from his story?  What finds you here?
