Meet the improv team
Kevin DiLucente
Kevin is a comedian/musician born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He attended the University at Buffalo, where he obtained a degree in Theatre; which some might say was a big mistake. In further defiance of those naysayers, he has also studied longform improv extensively at UCB (NYC), Second City (Toronto), Bad Dog (Toronto) and WGIS (Online), under some of the world’s best improv talents. Basically, he’s been studying and performing improv for way longer than he’d like to admit.
Todd Benzin
Todd Benzin is a Buffalo born and bred actor and improviser. In 2018, Todd was awarded the first-ever Artie for Outstanding Character Performance as Franz Liebkind in the Kavinoky Theatre's The Producers. In addition to several past Road Less Traveled productions, he has appeared at the Irish Classical Theatre Company, Alleyway Theatre, Shakespeare in Delaware Park, Shea’s 710 Main Street, the Ujima Theatre, Theatre of Youth, and MusicalFare, where he was nominated for two Arties for Supporting Actor in a Musical. Todd is a Conservatory graduate from Toronto’s prestigious Second City and currently improvises with Buffalo Improv House and Babushka.
Don Gervasi
Don Gervasi is celebrating his 30th year as an improviser and is a graduate of Toronto’s Second City Conservatory Program. He is a founding member of Buffalo’s own Eclectic Improv Company and the other half of long-form improv duo Babushka. As an actor he has performed on many of Buffalo’s stages, and you can see him in such films as Marshall starring Chadwick Boseman, and Queen City starring Vivica A. Fox. He is a proud member of three unions: IATSE, SAG-AFTRA, and Actors’ Equity Association. www.DonGervasi.com
Meghan Joyce
Meghan Joyce, co-owner of Buffalo Comedy Collective, first began performing improv in 2016 with her debut in the Buffalo ComedySportz Minor League program. After a year of participation, she was asked to join the Buffalo CSz Pro roster, where she has been ever since. In addition to her shortform work, Meghan is actively involved in several local longform groups, including Dream Cheese, FanFiction, Last Resort, and the all-female troupe Twisted Sister Act. When not performing, you’ll often find her at Buffalo Comedy Collective events (including family-friendly ComedySportz matches, 18+ programming at the American Repertory Theater of WNY, and quarterly charity Knockout shows), teaching classes/workshops to budding improvisers, or supporting other arts in the community.
Annie Moor
Annie Moor is an illustrator and improviser, having performed longform and musical improv since 2008 in New York City, and now in Buffalo. Annie is co-owner of Buffalo Improv House (buffaloimprovhouse.com) with her husband Dan, teaching classes and hosting performances around the city, and you can see her performing short form improv in Buffalo’s ComedySportz. You can find her full portfolio of illustrated products and custom work at anniemoorillustration.com. When not doing all of those things, she’s chasing after her young daughters and making weird jokes to playground moms!
Jimmie Byrd
Jimmie Byrd is an actor and entrepreneur based in Buffalo, New York. As an improv comedian, he performs with Buffalo Improv House, ComedySportz, and Unscripted at the Road Less Traveled Theater.
